Provincial's Message "Christmas is the celebration of Love, Harmony, and Happiness." It is the celebration of the Love that God has revealed and imparted to us, the love that we have to interiorise by accepting it unconditionally and externalise by loving others. We celebrate Christmas every year, because imbibing the spirit of Christmas and living it is an unfinished task which we have to actualise every moment of our lives. I wish you all the Love, Harmony, and Happiness that we celebrate at Christmas and these blessings in abundance throughout the New Year. Fr. Antony Edanad CMI	Publication of the Works of Rev. Dr. Placid J Podipara CMI It has been a long cherished desire of many who knew Fr. Placid J. Podipara CMI personally, and of those who learned what he did for the well-being and progress of the St. Thomas Christians of India in general and the Syro-Malabar and Syro-Malankara Churches in particular, to see his works published as a Collection. It is gratefully remembered that Rev. Dr. Thomas Kalayil CMI came forward to take up the laborious and scholarly task of publishing these works. During the last three years he devoted himself completely to this task and successfully completed it. The valuable and technical help of Rev. Fr. Shaji Enekkate CMI is acknowledged. Fr. Placid’s works have been classified into five volumes and they have been compiled as three for publication. The bound books are very attractive having the size and get-up of encyclopedias and amounting to three thousand and thirty-six pages. The entire work comprises of 3 books and for the time being we print only 200 copies as each copy costs Rs. 8500/-. This great dream would not have been realised but for the untiring and unselfish service of Rev. Dr. Thomas Kalayil
Bon Voyage ! Prayerful Wishes Rev. Fr. Varghese Panakalam CMI has outstanding academic achievement enriched by practical experience which will stand him in good stead in the Ministry which he is going to undertake in the Diocese of Munster, Germany. His yeoman service in upbringing Christ Nagar CBSE and Christ Nagar College of Education, Thiruvallam, is commendable. He leaves for Germany on 29 December, 2007. We wish him all success in his Ministry.	A Big thank you My dear Rev. Fathers and Brothers, I am writing these lines to acknowledge my indebtedness and gratitude to each one of you for your prayers and concern. I am sure that it was your ardent prayers that rescued me from that fatal malady. The disease was diagnosed as Guillain Barre Syndrome which was the result of the attack of a virus that destroyed the substance covering the nerves. The Doctor told me that the speed of my recovery was miraculous. I experienced the wonderful care and affection of scholastics of Dharmaram College. They were like Guardian Angels. Rev. Fr. James Narithookil CMI, Rector of Dharmaram and the other members here were doing everything that was needed for my speedy recovery. Now I am in good form taking classes and doing other duties. Fr.
